Welcome to your romance-inspired music experience! Here's everything you need to know about using the record player and enjoying our curated collection.
Using the Record Player
Power on using the volume knob (bottom right of player)
Lift the needle arm using the lever at the top right of player. Swing it off the vinyl area.
Place your selected vinyl on the turntable (hold by edges as much as possible)
Swing the lifted needed to the edge of the vinyl
Using the lever, lower the needle to begin playing
The record player has built-in speakers, however, we recommend using the sound system for the best experience. Turn the speakers on by flipping the on/off switch located at the back of the speaker on the right. To adjust volume, use the dial knob on the right side of the speaker on the right.
Our Curated Collection
Each record in our collection has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance your romantic getaway. Our inventory is carefully maintained between each stay to ensure every guest can enjoy the full experience.
Please note: Our complete vinyl inventory is documented before and after each stay. Any missing records will result in a replacement charge to maintain the collection for future guests.
Leave Your Mark
If you feel moved to share the love, consider leaving behind your own favorite record for future guests to enjoy. This is a beautiful way to contribute to The Kiss Cabin's growing collection and become part of our story. Use provided pen and paper to slip a note in for future guests to read about the significance of that record to you. Or leave some words of wisdom to couples in love. Local antique stores in West Jefferson and Boone are a great place to shop for vinyl.

We know, we know! Nobody likes to shower off before enjoying a hot tub. We get it. However, at a minimum, please remove any lotions / deodorants / oily products from your skin before your soak. This drastically increases the lifespan of our hot tub. Thank you!
Remove the lid by flipping it over onto itself and then sliding it onto the deck (top or bottom level is fine)
Hot tub will already be set to the highest temperature (104ºF). You may adjust the temperature using the up and down areas on the control panel inside the tub
Pro Tip: If you are soaking at night, turn on the fairy lights! Switch is located on the privacy wall below the white planters. Use a candle to make your way back to the tub
You do not need to press any buttons when done hot tubbing, but please return the lid to the top
-
There are light fixtures installed at the corners of the porch’s overhead roof.
Turn on the enchanted lights using the switch located on the porch privacy wall (underneath the white plant holders).
For the best experience, turn off all interior and exterior lights before enjoying the enchanted lights. Use provided candles to navigate your way to the hot tub or the patio daybed and enjoy.
The lights will automatically cycle through colors and modes, or you can manually adjust them using the remote controls, which can be found in the kitchen drawers.

The electric fireplace is easy to operate with the touch screens or via the small black remote.
